  1. Bed LEDs turn on with zone light/key?

Is there a setting or configuration so that my bed lights come on when I stop the truck or active zone lighting? I'm talking about the lights in the bed and not the light up by the brake light. I have a solid bed cover and would be nice to have these lights turn on at night when I turn the truck...
  2. carplay choppy

I have had this same thing and it's really irritating. If I plug in majority of the time it is still using wireless CarPlay and same dropouts. The best chance of this being fixed is if ford can use CarPlay over 5Ghz instead of the 2.4 as this is definitely an interference issues, I'm not sure if...
  3. No 3.5mm Aux In for Hi-res music?

I found a presentation dating back to 2016 and wired CarPlay uses LCPM at 16/48 but Wireless CarPlay uses AAC. So in theory using Wired CarPlay will max out your trucks capability.
  4. No 3.5mm Aux In for Hi-res music?

I have seen in threads that CarPlay is limited to 16/48(or 44) couple different sources and Airplay 2 is at 24/44 other around "CD quality". This is not an audio quality debate but most people on most sound systems can't tell much past this range anyway. I would assume you will get a minor...
  5. OTA Update - anyone received one yet?

It did not, I read another article that it is planed for this year and not necessarly the first update.
  6. OTA Update - anyone received one yet?

Received my first last night as well. My OTA is setup for Thursday night so that lines up.
  7. CARPLAY / BLUE SCREEN OF DE@TH

In my normal 1 hour commute Carplay disconnects and reconnects about 3-4 times. The music stops, CarPlay disappears from menu for about 20-30 seconds then comes back. This really is annoying from a music perspective. Anyone else seeing this?
  8. 2020 Mud Flaps fit 2021 F-150?

I was going to ask the same. I do some gravel road driving often enough that I would like some extra protection from rock chips. Let me know if you find anything a little bigger that are also no drill.
  9. BakFlip MX4 Resting on Window

Have you had any water issues? I know they are not waterproof and more of a resistant but there have been a few comments on how the undercover appears to be a little shorter and more water then usually getting in.
  10. Undercover Armor Flex poor fitment?

I was just about to order this cover. Maybe not the right thread but does the F1 or MX4 fit better?
  11. UnderCover ArmorFlex 2020 vs 2021

I did read that the Bakflips are different part numbers because the width changed slightly, although most people swap them fine.
  12. OTA Update - anyone received one yet?

It would be interesting if Forscan and/or sync had a way to display the software version of all the modules. We could start a list of someone who has never connected to look for changes if the above is all the details ford is going to release. I don't have my truck yet so I'm not sure what...
  13. DIY video: 2021 Ford F-150 Wheel Well Liner Install

    What is the part number?
  14. SYNC Version Tracker

Actually looking at the website there should be update details on the dash if any update has been applied. https://owner.ford.com/support/how-tos/sync/sync-4-and-4a/software-updates.html
  15. SYNC Version Tracker

Its hard to tell but from what I have been reading no customer updates have been provided yet so there is also no release notes or change logs. I also don't think anything has been pushed OTA so if there are different version out there, then they came off the factory line.
  16. Weathertech floor liners same part numbers for 2021 F-150 as 2020 model?

I have a set coming with my truck in a few months away yet. Their website has the same part numbers listed for 2020 and 2021. I think you are fine to order unless you have the "Partitioned Lockable Fold-Flat Storage" that should come later with a smaller rear mat. If you just have the standard...
  17. Extra leaf spring for max tow?

I tried to find a source but the max tow options use a conventional steel 3 leaf design while the non-max tow use a new composite 2 leaf design.
  18. Replacement of Antenna

Yes the antenna is higher and often hits on standard garage door heights. A large antenna is simply the cheapest and most reliable way for long range antenna reception. In the antenna world bigger is always better.
  19. Replacement of Antenna

Nice! I'm assuming I will have the same problem but we will wait and see.
