I don't know how it is in Canadia-land, but if I really felt like I was scammed, I'd be fighting it with my bank. You can really dispute a lot even if it's via check. Just throwing it out there.
I brought mine in, no idea if they were loose or not. I guess I didn’t care enough to ask what they did, just wanted the documentation it was resolved lol
I've seen this one before. I've never put mine down because I'm afraid of this situation lol (not lol at the OP problem, but at Ford designing something that fails across the board).
Has anyone had this issue? If so, what did you notice before the issue happened? I noticed there is a strange creek when I turn the wheel very hard, but I only hear it if the window is down. Hasn't really been an issue, but just wondering if this is related.
You can find many many many examples of the F150 sunroof leaks, for quite a few years now. This was the biggest reason I didn't want one. I came across someone saying it really started after they went all aluminum, but who knows how true that is.
How do you know an acronym is more useless than useful? Use your favorite search engine and see if it shows up right on top. If not, then don't use it because you will lose people in the conversation. Kind of like when you talk to someone in real life.
"Hey Bob, I'm not a doctor, so stop using...
I'm having this issue. I've been trying to trouble shoot this for a few weeks now. I pushed around on the outside and I don't hear any squeaks or rattles. Mine certainly sounds like it's a hard plastic - on - hard plastic type of rattle. I'm going to keep trying to wedge things in different areas.
I've never folded mine down as I've never had a reason. Are there people who have never folded theirs down that seem to last forever? Or is this one of those parts that will just eventually fail in time.
Damn, I have a 24 Flash and have had zero issues, though I'm only around 5k miles. I do have a slight rattle when it gets really hot in the cab. It's on the passenger side and by the time I get the AC going it goes away.
Because after 20 years of being in tech, I learned that sometimes computers need a nice cold reboot, especially non Unix OS's. I don't know the details of Ford, but if they have allowed Microsoft in with the sync shit, I'm guessing it's not Unix.
As far as why quarterly, just easy to remember...
Might be good to give the truck a nice 'cold reboot', if you will. Disconnect the 12v battery for 20 minutes or so, then reconnect it. I've started to do this quarterly (coming up soon).
I haven't, but this is something that I'm afraid of having in the future because of those headlights turning when I turn the steering wheel. Might not be related to your issue, but I certainly wish this wasn't a thing....
I wanted to ask on this, but it looks that replies are no longer available https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/safety-program-25s18-certain-2022-2024-f-150-lightning-–-supplier-manufacturing-defect-in-high-voltage-battery-cells.25351/
I see Ford says if you enter your VIN on the...
Same here, and I found it annoying in the IT world, just as I find it annoying when my medical family tries to use them. It's kind of a basic thing to know your audience and then speak accordingly. You don't sound smarter just because you use terminology of that field....
I haven't had any of these issues, but I guess because I wire in the carplay and not do wireless, and don't use my speakers for calls, and don't use alexa. I guess I'm too old for some of those things haha
Kind of makes me want to verify mine are at 150ft lbs
I have an older f100, got new wheels, had one start to come loose. Luckily it was very close to home and I pulled off to the side of the road and was able to resolve it. I then went through the rest of my wheels and none were torqued down to...
