According to Ford CS , mine's supposedly still at West Chicago interchange since Tuesday, but my status (via UP phone) keeps updating with new date/timestamps as "Train Departed". I'm not sure if it's actually moved or not, so I'm waiting to hear from my dealer.

All this to say, Ford CS's order status visibility might be limited and/or outdated.

I'm hoping it's outdated and the train is on its way to Cali

My 12/14 build shipped on 12/29 and says 1/2-1/8 delivery online, but CS says it has been "received at Junction Point (Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway Co ) in Blue Island, IL." which sounds like i'm a couple weeks out.

The final delivery via united road shows as inactive still in their tracking system so it is definitely not in OR yet.

Which state are you in? @kskaplan25 was also chilling at this junction earlier in the week and curious if they've moved or not. These rail interchange/junction yards seem to take a few days to a week to receive all cars required for the next long haul -- you could be first or last in and greatly impact the "wait time" until departure to the next stop.

In my experience, the railroads don't mess around with updates. I'd use them as your source of truth and not ford.

Looks like mine is at a rail yard outside houston where the dealer is. I didn't have any information for a while but it was quicker than I thought it would be. I wonder how long the dealer needs it before I take posession

Plug your VIN into United Road's tracking site: http://unitedroad.com/delivery-receipt

If you see your dealer listed, you can track the last leg of the journey. If not, the last hop or two is probably handled through a different company. Fingers crossed it hits your dealer's lot soon!

Dealer update: truck is in North Platte, NE as of this morning ~250 miles from it's final destination ramp!

Gotcha. I have a similar delivery and deciphered that GFX-ROTUNDA is a holding lot 1.5 miles from Ford's Dearborn plant. Since you don't see your dealer, United Road isn't handling the delivery. Worth a shot!

So customer service said my XLT was in scanned via rail in Mesquite Tx yesterday at 11 am but then scan in Lordstown OH at 9pm. I live in the DFW area. Something is not making since considering my delivery date says Jan 6-8th….

I just talked to a friend who took delivery of an XLT towards the end of December in the Bay Area in California. He says that it took 3 weeks and 2 days from the time he received a shipped notification. He says that the updates that he got from Ford customer service were in general outdated and not accurate. He did have success using rail car information.

Contacted my dealer today and the email I received back was that the truck is a couple days from arriving in California via rail. He did not provide any further information, so I'm not sure where trucks destined for the SF Bay Area come in. Richmond, perhaps?? I thanked him and said I would be in touch next week for another update. So far, my delivery estimate remains the same as when I first received notice.

Mine shipped 12/28 too. I hope my truck is on the same rail as yours!

Looks like my date once again moved from 1/3/23 - 1/9/23 back to 1/28/23 - 2/3/23 again.

Also I'm unable to pull up my Window Sticker now... does that mean anything?

Took Delivery of my Rapid Red Metallic Lariat SR yesterday. Seem like it went lightning fast. Must of had truck heading to Cincinnati.
