I had been looking all over for the full wheel and tire weight on the 20” platinum wheel and hankook dynapro at2 set up. Finally got my take offs and weighed them. Thought others might benefit. Total weight per tire/wheel is 83.1 lbs.

My Platinum is a powerboost, so I wanted to try and keep the weight down as much as possible. I decided to go with 20x9 +12 Black Rhino Apache’s and 275/65/20 Toyo AT3’s. My set up comes in at 89lbs (34# wheel/55# tire) per corner. Hopefully that’s helpful for others as you’re looking at what tire/wheel combo you want on the Platinum.

Good info! I have been researching tires for my new 21 Lariat (Sport 502A-20" wheels) and weight was a big factor. I ordered an Autospring 2" front 3/4" rear kit and dealer is installing next week. I decided on a 275 65 20 Cooper AT3 and its weight is 60 lbs. The local tire shop was pushing 295 60 Baja Boss's and when I looked them up and saw over 70# I declined.

Do you think STX 20s with Goodyear's would weight about the same?
Not sure. One thing I learned from researching tires and wheels is the weights can vary drastically! You might be able to find that info on here somewhere.

How does your truck perform? Specifically, the electric driving part.

It’s good. I’m still trying to learn how to use it most effectively, but I’ve found the transition from electric to gas to be really smooth. It takes some learning how to find the right spot to get the electric to kick in. I really enjoy it!

Does it still seem to go in electric mode about as often as before the wheel/tire change?

I have a Lariat with 20" PVD wheels. It came with the Pirelli ATRs, which weigh 40# each in that size. I replaced them with Yoko G015s, which weigh 45# each. Assuming our Ford wheels are about the same weight, 34#, my total weight with the Pirellis would be 74# and with the Yokos 79#. Significantly lighter than what you have and likely to make a MPG difference. I looked at the K02s but they are noisier (my Yokos sound like the stock tires) and weigh 55# each, for a total weight of 89#. Essentially the weight you have. Let us know what the mileage looks like once you put a few miles on, but I'll bet it'll be 1-1.5 MPG less than stock.

I didn’t have it long enough with the original set up to be able to tell. Now I will say the dealer didn’t inflate my new tires to the right psi, which I think has been impacting my mpg. I found a conversion table that showed what my new tires should be compared to stock.

I don’t think our factory wheels weigh the same. The Hankooks based on tire rack are 42lbs. Backing into the platinum wheel weight from my total 83 would put them at 41lbs.

Could you possible share a photo of your set up? Possibly from the side and front to get an idea of the offset.

I am considering the black rhino rapid 20x9 +12 with Toyo AT3. Not sure if I want to go 275/65/20 or 295/60/20. Thanks in advance!

Here’s from the side. I can send one from the front in the morning.
