The 2021 F-150s equipped with the Sport Appearance Package and the "18" 6-Spoke Machined Aluminum Wheels with Gloss Black Painted Pockets" available on the XLT and Lariat trims will supposedly be wearing Goodyear Wranglers with unique outside white lettering from the factory.
If you're like me, one of my favorite features of the Sport Appearance package is the stock wheels, and the OWL tires!
I have looked at multiple different tire retailers to do more research on the OEM tire for the XLT and Lariat Sport packages, but couldn't find a whole lot for the exact tire the truck comes with. Apparently, the Wrangler is a series of tires from Goodyear with several different models and varying tread patterns.
I recently found an advertisement from Cars.com that showed a close up of a 2021 F-150 Lariat with the Sport Appearance Package and the 18" gloss black wheels. Thanks to the high definition details of the photos, you can see the truck is equipped with Goodyear Wrangler tires. If you look closer, you can see the Wrangler model specified as "Territory AT" and a size of 275/65/R18 (275mm width, 65 height/tall sidewall, 18 inch wheel for those wondering about the numbering specifics).
From what I can tell, this Wrangler Territory AT is a new tire from Goodyear and exclusive to the 2021 Ford F-150 (at least for now). I then found the listing for the Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT on TireRack.com listing. Here I was able to find a more direct look at the tire sidewall as well as the tire's tread pattern. Here is a closer look at both:

I've also posted the TireRack.com page so you can take a closer look for yourself -

The Wrangler Territory AT appears to be a brand new tire from Goodyear as it is not listed on Goodyear's website yet, and does not have any user reviews of TireRack.com. Purely from a visual perspective, the tire seems to have a moderately aggressive tread pattern that should do a good job on road and light to moderate off-roading.
I also found a YouTube video on posted on our sister website, Bronco6G.com, from TFL's Talkin' Trucks podcast that goes into detail on this particular tire as it appears a black sidewall variant is one of the OEM tires for the new Ford Bronco. Isn't it a bit ironic that the Bronco has a tire that bears the name of its most formidable competitor? Anyway.....
Quick little history and info lesson, the Goodyear Wrangler tire is considered a sub-brand, or its own model. The Wrangler series has seven different models including the new Territory. The original Wrangler, the Goodyear Wrangler R/T was introduced in 1976, and continued to expand into multiple models in 1979, and is used for numerous light truck applications today.
Hopefully all of this history and research bodes well for a good first set of tires for those of us who ordered our F-150s with the XLT and Lariat Sport Appearance Packages!
