Any long-term concerns keeping the Lightning out in the elements unplugged most of the time?

Looking to get a Lightning in the next month or two, but our old garage in Chicago cannot fit in the garage with or without or MME parked in it, so the Lightning would be stuck parked out on the street without the ability to stay plugged in. Would there possibly be an long-term concerns to the health of the battery (incl. the 12v) or other components if we keep the truck outdoors without access to power? I know that preconditioning would definitely be a concern in the winters here in Chicago, but would that have any lasting impact on the battery health?

As long as you understand vampire drain and it's affects the range in various weather conditions then adjust your charging pattern to compensate for sitting outside, this is a non-issue. Just turn on the climate control a few minutes before you get in to drive away and you'll be set.

My lightning does the same. I plug it in about once a week right now. I think it’s fine
