Was poking around behind my seats today looking at amp and wiring to see how easy it will be to go ahead and add one JL 12TW3 to my 501a package lariats 8 speaker B&O "System" (don't get me wrong it's pretty good for a stock set up I won't lie), anyways had this empty plug. First thought is it would be for the 18 speaker setup? Assuming another harness plus into it and runs thru the headliner and branches out. Do they use the same amp/DSP though? Anyone else got one of these? I've seen weirder things installed in cars or trucks that needed like ones thing to get a whole new feature set. (kinda like the 13th gen F150's being wires up for HDC and the intelligent cruise control)
