I’ve never had a ford so I dunno what CSP even is. App said I should get it serviced so I tried and they said nah fam. They're not denying you the CSP. They're denying your request to do other unrelated software updates. This directed by Ford and no dealer will do that.
"BlueCruise uses a combination of technologies, including lane centering assist and adaptive cruise control, to enable hands-free driving."What is the difference between Bluecruise and adaptive cruise control with labe centering? Isn't that the same thing?
Assuming you mean 24B56. I told my dealer that it was suppose to make BC work better. After having it done I realized that my BC was not working properly from the beginning and I assumed that’s how it worked. I had no sensor error messages. My BC could not make highway turns in the city without freaking out and was going to the “take control” screen. It also would not start moving in stop and go traffic if it had stopped and would leave huge gaps between the car in front in slow traffic. They said if you don’t have issues they don’t update lol
It’s the front sensor and charge cord updates
It’s the small cam error. They tried correcting it numerous times once with me watching. They did the apim 360 cam configuration and it wouldn’t take.Messed up the rear camera how?
Easy fix with FORScan, though. It’s the small cam error. They tried correcting it numerous times once with me watching. They did the apim 360 cam configuration and it wouldn’t take.
Thanks! But shouldn’t the service department’s know this? A field service tech tried to fix it the 2nd time now it’s escalated to some engineer dude. I haven’t messed with forscan in years. I may have to break out the old windows laptop. Thanks again.Easy fix with FORScan, though.

It's sad that I know this by memory at this point.

installed successfully on the first try. Perfect timing- I had a quick road trip and tested it out. Lane change worked great!Mine is installing now. Hopefully without issue. System says 83 mins

There is a procedure in FDRS to correct this issue. I don't have a good answer as to why they need to involve an engineer for something the engineers already provided an easy fix for. What I can tell you as someone who has FDRS and FORScan, if I had to fix this on a truck, I would used FORScan to do it. By the time FDRS boots up, it would be fixed with FORScan.
