Is there a setting in Carplay navigation to remove all charging stops?
On our trip leg from Waco to Denison we had charged to 80% and had 220 miles of range and the destination was 160 miles. The navigation was adding a charging stop inbetween and once you start the navigation you can’t zoom out and see that a charging stop was added. I would cancel the navigation and start over and it would add a stop again. I tried to remove the car so that carplay would not know I was in a EV but then it would no longer be connected to the car. I ended up not using the car navigation or carplay at all and used google on my phone. We ended up in Dennison with 60 miles of range without stopping, but having in car navigation is nice and we were not able to use it because it was so horribly wrong.
Last year it re-routed us around Dallas and I thought it was because of traffic, but it was because navigation wanted us to charge so it took us to a level 2 charger that we did not need.
What am I doing wrong or is it really this bad?
