Dealer just charged my CC $100.

When I called the dealer, they said this had happened several times today and that it was FordMoCo, not the dealership. They are trying to find out from Ford what it means. Small Hillsboro dealership has more than 100 names on their Lightning list. Have others experienced this?

The dealership says they did not do it. That it was Ford and it happened to "many" of the dealerships reservation holders.

I see that my DEPOSIT with FordMoCo was a "pending charge" on my reservation date 5/23/21. Today the charge was no longer "pending". Oh, be still my beating heart!

That's weird, my $100 reservation deposit posted on 5/19/21 when I submitted the order for the designated dealer, billed the following monthly statement and has been paid since.
