So I popped off the connector on the driver's door and it looks like I don't have the wires on my 2024 XLT EG-311A  I'm hoping that either the wires are just different for 2024 or that it isn't hard to add them.

@ZSC100 where did you get the wiring diagram from? I'm trying to locate the same for 2024. Thanks!
Back then I was getting them from an awesome parts guy at a local dealer, ,but I've since realized a 72hr subscription to PTS on a dual monitor computer with fast internet is the way to go. Just spend a few hours and download(print to PDF) all diagrams you can think you'd ever need.

https://www.motorcraftservice.com/

Once logged in go to "service info" on the top menu bar, select 72hr Option and once you've paid you sometimes have to log out, wait 10min then log back in, to access it use the "my subscriptions" tab. It's not a very friendly UI, but it's Ford so that's to be expected :(

Thanks so much @ZSC100 , that was a huge help. So, it looks like everything is the same. The last piece of the puzzle is the firmware. I would probably need the firmware from a 2024 Flash. You wouldn't happen to know where I could get that as well?

Yes, for that you need to contact Jesse @Jesse-Infotainment

I'd say talk to him directly if a different BCM firmware is needed he will know. If indeed a different one is needed If you could start a new DIY post titled something like
"DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A 2024 F-150 Lightning XLT EG311A" with access to the firmware for others that would be awesome.

Thanks for the help again. I will definitely make a post once everything is verified working. :)

For anyone doing this on a 2024 xlt i just got mine completed and working.

Parts you need for this project are:
The harness listed Previously
PL3Z-14631-G

Handle listed previously
ML3Z-1522405-DCPTM (includes the passive button/antenna module)

I used a bronco handle and swapped covers so i did not have to cut mine
M2DZ-7822405-CB

I used this wire to run the 4 wires to the drivers door handle
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CFJXMDT3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

And some pins for the connectors. i will list the pigtail part numbers so you can get exact pins
BCM - JU2Z-14S411-DA
Body harness to door - JU2Z-14S411-BB

I contacted @Jesse-Infotainment for assistance with programming and final touch ups but everything works perfect!

I would be happy to assist anyone with helping get this done.

If i were to do it again, i would not buy the door harness. I would run the 4 wires from the bcm to the body/door connector and then run the 4 wires from the door side of the connector and install a pigtail for the door handle. this would probably save you about $100-$150. i will list the pigtail part numbers below. I am listing the pigtails so you can get the pins from them so you have exact pins for the project. If you have access to pins or scrap harnesses you will not need them.

Door handle pigtail - FU2Z-14S411-ANA
Male Door harness - RU2Z-14S411-ATA
Female Door harness - JU2Z-14S411-BB
BCM - JU2Z-14S411-DA

Thanks for posting this! I'm about to do it myself on my 24 XLT but the wrong door handle was shipped to me and I'm still waiting for the replacement.

I have planned to do it the way you suggested where I'm running my own wires in the door between the handle and the inside of the door. I got the connectors for the door handles, that were posted earlier in this thread, off of AliExpress.

The part I'm a little unsure of is running the wires from the BCM to the driver's body/door connector. When I had unplugged the harness to see if I had the wires, there wasn't much wiggle room with the harness. Was it hard to get the pins into the harness with such little space? Also, do you have any tips and/or photos of how you ran those wires?

Thanks again!

No, it is tight but it is pretty easy. When you separate the connector like i have pictured below they slide right in. you have more room than you think. I then tied up the harness and ran it below the dash under the a/c evap case. Try to tie it up behind the gas pedal and above the steering column. Remember this is part of the body harness dont attach it to any part or run it through the dash because if the dash ever has to come out then the wires will have to be cut.

Thanks for those details. I didn't realize that it slides out like that. What about the other end that goes in the door jamb. Any trouble or tips for that end?

If you reference earlier in the thread they show a pretty good description of how to remove the door jam housing but once you get it out and connectors disconnected you can pull the door harness into the door and out the speaker hole for easy access. The body side has about 4 inches of slack so once again it’s not a ton of room but plenty to get the job done. If you run a coat hanger through the body hole where the harness comes out you can fish the wires through pretty easy. If I have a chance tomorrow I will take some pictures for you

Good to hear it's easy to get the wire through with the coat hanger. That was the last unknown I had. I feel like the install should go pretty smoothly. Hopefully the handle comes soon. 🤞

It's been a bit since I've followed this thread...

Are you saying you bought 2 handles here? Or you went with the second one instead of the first?
