I'm used to Fords having drove F150s for 10 plus years and well aware of their nuance. Most F150s have a rattle in the door which can be fixed with tape and the clips but this is a new one. I have rubbing from the entire door and the padded molding. It's not a rattling or shaking, it's just a rubbing sound and it's driving me nuts. Truck has 5k miles.

Same issue.

It looks to me that the door is slightly misaligned.

I had it looked at during my last service, they said they did something to fix it, but its exactly the same.

I have something that happens that sounds like that. For me, I suspected it's the door and frame rubber molding that is vibrating together when you hit bumps or road imperfections.

Here's what I did that has lessened it. Coat the rubber trim around the door and door frame with a heavy coat of armor all or something similar that leaves an oily coat on the seals. This has removed the vibration for me.

Let me know if that works.

I’ve got the exact same issue. I’ve tried waxing the paint inside the door where the rubber seal makes contact, I’ve tried to put dressing on the rubber seal, I’ve tried a felt pad underneath the rubber seal, all to no avail. I even tried to adjust the striker plate. It’s better for the most part but still not fixed.
Maybe someone else fixes this.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

I used some dieletric grease to grease the seal on the drivers door. It's what I have always used on my cars to keep the seals from drying out. It helped lessen the noise for a little bit, but now its back again. I only have 2500 miles on the truck, so it certainly didn't help very long. Been there since I picked it up. I could swear at higher speeds (above 55) I can hear slight wind noise as well, but the seals are waterproof. I thought it was in my head, but I suppose now that I know it's not just me, I'll have to bring it into a dealership as well.

My truck has done it since brand new. I heard it on the test drive and mentioned it to the salesman but you all know how that goes. He couldn’t hear anything. I have the same truck at work and didn’t hear it on that truck so figured it’s something that I could just adjust. Haven’t figured it out yet, and now my work truck makes a similar noise as well. Just not as bad.
i love my truck and talk to people about it all the time. It’s definitely not for everyone though.

Unfortunately no not that. It's my driver door and it's like a squeak, not sure what the black molding material is made of but it sounds like that rubbing against the interior door frame. It's not coming from the interior door trim. Wonder if my door is mis aligned
I had the same issue. I adjusted the door in on the top and it’s super quiet now. Took about 5 min with a 10mm socket.

Oh nice, any chance you could post a picture of what you adjusted specifically
Can do. Give me a few minutes and I will. That will be easier than trying to find the old thread that I use to figure out how to adjust it. Lol.
