Echo Auto / Bluetooth

I have been using echo auto with bluetooth for a long time with no issues. The past few weeks (more than just yesterdays AWS issue) I have found that the connection seems to just drop even mid song. I can get it back by going to Source and selecting Bluetooth again so it doesn't seem like an issue with the echo itself.

Can't really help you with the issue, but the good news is that Alexa will be coming to the F-150. The original timeline was by the end of the year. Then you won't need the Echo Auto at all.

Yeah, I've been anxiously anticipating this update since May. I can confirm that a section recently popped up in eSourcebook (dealer training) about it, but I still haven't heard anything about a release date.

Does Amazon know something we don't. I though the 21 model year F150's were getting the built in Alexa.

If that's true, using echo auto is going to be a better choice for me. I have completely removed the device and readded it and am continuing to have the same problems.
