Electronic cabin coolant heater replacement (23C32/23V688)

Just took home a new Lariat. Loving the truck. Was checking my charge level this morning and saw this recall. Searched the forums but didn't see it listed anywhere. Anybody else get this one?

Description
On your vehicle, the electronic cabin coolant heater module may have a missing solder joint, which can result in intermittent, or no windshield defrost and defog functionality. You may also notice a lack of heat in the vehicle cabin when the heater is on.

Safety Risk
The lack of a functioning windshield defrosting and defogging system may decrease the drivers visibility under certain driving conditions, increasing the risk of a crash

The lack of a functioning windshield defrosting and defogging system may decrease the drivers visibility under certain driving conditions, increasing the risk of a crash

When I look at Ford Recalls | Canada for your VIN this is what I see

When I check another Canadian order @mchayer , his truck does not have it but only the BECM CSP

While @stevey_frac shows nothing yet because his truck has not been built.

it is now listed as a recall for my yet to be received XLT+ although I'm more concerned about the battery CSP.

I also have the recall for the possibly missing soldier joint. Shows on the .gov site but not in my Ford Pass today. Yesterday the defrost heater recall and the battery recall were on the Ford Pass listing.

I've just purchased but haven't received my XLT. Delivery was supposed to be yesterday but they tell me they can't deliver now due to the recall due to safety issues

Has anyone had anything done to remedy this recall issue. I got to the point where I was signing paperwork to take ownership and then was told the deal was no go because of this recall. This was over two weeks ago, and my truck is just sitting in the dealer lot with nothing happening. I call Ford, nowhere. I call the dealer nothing.

Received it today. More or less the same as the Ford Pass notice.

Even though I'm part of the recall, my heat and defrost works well. Would be a MUCH different story if I wasn't able to defrost and was waiting for Ford to produce parts.

At least we see that there is no magic to be expected.
