@flyct I don't see dealers in my area offering anything more than the Fed + Ford Cash discount of 15K. Yeah, would be nice if they did more incentives to consider a newer model. Might take a chance on the used if i can get it at 50K.

So, i guess there is not enough data on 2023 specs to calculate it or they just don't want to buy it.

Try https://texasautovalue.com/ A few pictures and a phone call and they offered and bought my 2022 F-450 King Ranch for $89,000. Local dealers were only offering a max of $83,750. After the offer, they flew a guy out from Dallas to Tampa the next morning. Met me at my Chase bank and immediately transferred the money to my Chase account. Signed all the paperwork, then put a Texas Dealer tag on it and drove the truck 17 hours back to Dallas.

Before buying a used one I would get a Battery condition report from them. Some of these were bought for the sole reason to put on youtube to demonstrate distance and towing pushing to the limit. Most of us are not going to abuse our battery pushing it to the limit or driving it until it is dead. Another way is have them fully charge 100% you should get somewhere close to 320 for extended battery, 220 for a standard . You want a battery in the 90% percentile health I would think or use that for an even better deal. Even though there is a 8 year or what ever left warrantee who wants to go through having your whole battery replaced.

I have a 23 Lariat extended range and follow the max charging rule of 80% unless I am going on an extended trip. It gives me 226-256 range depending on temperature (I live in the south). 90% of my driving is around town and put 50 to 100 some miles a day on it. I charge daily to every 2 days at home. I like having it ready just in case I need to make a trip somewhere the following day. I am really happy I went for the extended range it gives me a good buffer and reduced the initial state of charge anxiety of owning an EV for the first time. I think it is one of the best decisions I have made buying one.

You should not pay for it. The dealer should be able to give you the report if they service them with all the equipment they have.

Last month I just bought a lariat er 79.800 msrp. Dealer added another 2k off plus the 15k. They have to move those 23s

I got a few quotes for a new Lariat ER, there is one offering a 79.5K MSRP @ ~64K after dealer discounts and incentives...but when i inquired about the EV credit they said they do not apply it when selling and i have to pay ~64K+Tax/Fees and then check with my Tax consultant to claim 7.5K later.....Is this true ? they can't apply the EV credit while purchasing the vehicle ?

From what i read in the forum everyone mentions it off MSRP, so just want to make sure this is not some dealer smoke n mirror stuff.

Because of this thread I decided to look around. Got brand new 2023 lariat ER 55kish after all incentive. Not quite as good as the OP but still good IMO

The one i mentioned comes about ~56K if it is true i can claim the 7.5K later....just skeptical why they can't apply it when i purchase the vehile if i choose to...If that was the case i could have haggled for more dealer discount....Just waiting to confirm what the actual deal is with claiming these rebates before talking further with the dealer.

From my understanding, not all dealership participate in point of sales federal tax credit. But they’re still require to report the sales eligibility I believe within 3 days and give you a copy of acceptance. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can chime in on this.

When I did mine they had me go through the claim on the portal with them.

Oh ok so it is not mandatory for all dealers to applu EV credits at POS. I was thinking that way. The problem with this offer , it is out of state about 3 hrs out....don't want to be in a situation where i have to go back n forth to get this credit applied properly. Will definitely gather all the details on how to make sure they do it right before negotiating further.

There is one dealer out of state offering 5K+ discount and others are pretty much offering 7.5K + 5K...Did ford reduce the Incentived from 7.5k to 5K in April ?

Lariats have the offering reduced from $7.5k to $5k beginning April. XLT's still have 7.5k. I have been trying to find a dealer willing to put more than 4k as dealer discount in NE and Midwest. There's really not much out there more than 4k right now. It'll probably change again when we are close to June, when we are closer to quarter ending and they try to get rid of the inventory as they get the push from Ford. Dealers were putting almost 9-10k in discounts on these trucks in Feb and March. I'm waiting for that to happen again.

Depends on which state you are buying from as far as the discounts goes. 2022 Lariat standard range should go for around $45K with $10,000 miles. A couple of them sold on Cars & Bids for slightly less (but the buyer has to pay 4.5% on top of the auction close.

2022 Lariat ER with around 20,000 miles on the clock went for $53-55K here in California - but there are very few of them that come up for sale in this price range. There are just not that many 2022 Lariat ERs that come up for sale in this price range.

Some states don't have sales tax. I called a Montana dealer. Would have been great if I lived in Montana. There's a North Carolina dealer selling used ones (owner returned the car due to Lemon issues), but they do not sell to California residents.
