2.5.2 update today! BlueCruise official! Unfortunately I’m currently about 2 hours from the nearest BlueCruise enabled road. May just be placebo but I swear it handled the two way highway I was driving today better. It felt like it was taking curves a bit more naturally and that braking was a bit less sudden when speed limit dropped. Again might easily be placebo but definitely felt better!

Me too! Haven't driven it yet though! Do you know where I can find a more detailed map of enabled highways that's not the unclear pic that you have to zoom into that's been shared around?

Also, where in your settings can you find bluecruise? I've seen the update confirmation, app notification, and that's all

I do not - actually don’t have a garage (street parking) so have to charge off the alternator. Otherwise probably would have thrown it on a trickle charger to try and see if that would work instead. I’m assuming it was charge that was affecting it since voltage level was a listed precondition, and that is the only thing I could see a longer drive impacting.
Well since state-of-charge actually *is* just the voltage translated through a battery I-V curve, then your external charger might just trick the state-of-charge calculation based on whatever voltage it outputs. I'd be interested to know if that works!

Mine made it up to 2.4.3 last night and I got the "final steps" notification last Friday. I have my updates set to check nightly so hoping for 1 update per night. Is that what others experienced?

People have said that if you pull up the Fordpass app and open the map, BC enabled roads are red.

Uh oh, I'm a little worried about the "when speed limit dropped" part. I'm hoping that BC does not force us to drive at the limit, and that it is not using optical sign recognition and rather is using GPS/map based limits? Here in California the optical recognition is not good because after limits of 65/70, there is always a 2nd sign of 55mph for trucks and trailers.

It is optical (if you enable SSR). And I've had 50/50 luck with the separate truck speed limit signs slamming on the brakes. School zones are another problem - no I don't need to slow down to 35 at 10pm at night!

You can leave speed sign recognition, where it changes cruise speed based on speed limit signs, off. While I haven't seen issues on highways I've driven on and use cruise, I don't want a random side road speed limit sign to slow me down.

Someone had posted something recently that referred to Mustang Mach E forum post surmising that red colored roads are BlueCruise enabled, but those also just appear to be divided highways which I believe not all are enabled. When I get back to Denver I can test to see how they line up. I'm curious since there are a number of divided highways that are red on the map that aren't interstates.

I haven't been able to find in settings.... just when I first turned on ACC yesterday I got a pop up saying BlueCruise was active and to pay attention and take the wheel when it says to do so (which was always since I was on two way road). I did test (to my wife's chagrin) and looking away for a few seconds did activate a warning so for better or worse eye tracking is now always active...

Yeah - I suspect having it plugged in would have worked but mostly the issue for me was street parking. I probably could have run an extension cord out during the day to keep it on there but wouldn't want to leave it there over night. If it hadn't worked probably would have given it a go...

Mine was I think one update every other day or so, but I also was one of the first to get any updates so it may have been a slower pace. I also am not sure if it will start the next update without starting the vehicle so if you don't drive daily might be worth hopping in and going a few blocks each day. My 2.5.1 updated on Saturday yesterday I got 2.5.2 but it was during first drive so I think they may be related. We are also at our cabin which is out of cell phone range though so it maybe just needed to get somewhere where it could download that update...

Yeah I meant using optical recognition. I have mine set at 5 over. I drive a lot on two lane roads (we have a cabin not near any highways) and most of them are 65 but drop to 45 as they go through towns. It used to really slam on the brakes as they dropped but this time it seemed to be a bit more gradual and less jarring, again may have been placebo.

We also have a bunch of those random signs (truck speeds, school limits, exit ramps etc). In my experience they used to set it off a lot more when I first got the truck and its slowly gotten better, though still far from perfect. I do occasionally still get the unexpected slow down, hopefully it will be better with this update. I'm really not sure why they don't use highway speed from GPS, maybe only overriding for work zones.

Has anyone who received the latest "Final Steps to Bluecruise" email on or around this past Friday, started receiving the final series of updates yet? I'm currently on 2.4.1 but I've had it for over a month. Hoping the rest arrive this week.
