Haven't received my Tesla adapter

I ordered in March. Talked to Ford Support on Friday. Told delays in shipments due to first batch being faulty and had to be scrapped. Was told should get my adapter by year end.

I live in a warmer climate (SC) - does setting a departure time (plugged in to level 2) help with the winter range? It does get cold here occasionally and I have wondered if that is worth the trouble. Supposedly the battery pack is heated/cooled as needed prior to departure if you do that if I understand it correctly.

Setting a departure time preconditions the battery and does “help”, but unless you need max range for that particular trip, it’s not necessary
