If you're lucky, you might even get a Free Ford-branded Lectron adapter. The Tesla made adapters are janky. There was already a batch given to Ford owners that was recalled -- recall even impacted some Magic Dock locations.

If you need an adapter right now, I'd pick up the A2Z. They make a great product and their customer service is stellar.

It's possible you will still want/need the L2 adapter so the bundle made sense

Thanks for the info. I’ll buy the bundle. Range is reduced in winter much more than anticipated. I thought the heat pump would help with that. Still the best vehicle I’ve ever had!

I live in a warmer climate (SC) - does setting a departure time (plugged in to level 2) help with the winter range? It does get cold here occasionally and I have wondered if that is worth the trouble. Supposedly the battery pack is heated/cooled as needed prior to departure if you do that if I understand it correctly.

I bought my Lightning on 3/15 and I'm supposed to receive mine in November but Ford is rapidly running out of November. As a matter of fact, Ford will be completely out of November in 7 days and have no more November in stock. So I'm skeptical of that date.

I have had the original TeslaTap adapter for years. They cost more than the Chinese ones but worth every cent and if you call them with a stupid question like I did, they will actually answer the phone.

I will just sell my Ford adapter when / if I receive it.
