This sounds like grandma putting a plastic cover on her couch. What is the purpose of covering everything.

I just got a sheet of 3m clear and did it myself. Used a sheet of paper to cut the shape, put it over the 3m and cut it out. The lens is so flat it was easy to do.Something told me that you had done this. Just ordered one from your link, and it's on sale.
Now to take care of the headlight film...
Cut the glare off the screen, I did the headlight cover to keep it from fading out and help protect from sandblasting. This sounds like grandma putting a plastic cover on her couch. What is the purpose of covering everything.
We have these nasty insects in Florida called "love bugs". Their body contains an incredibly acidic chemical, which when it gets on your car, can damage the paint or plastic within a day, if you're not careful. To make matters worse, they love to swarm over asphalt, which most of our roads are. This sounds like grandma putting a plastic cover on her couch. What is the purpose of covering everything.
I for the life of me don't know why they charge so much just for cutting a pattern. I spent $25 on enough to do 3 sets of F150 head lights. I'm sure their pattern is much better/accurate but 300% markup...Don't know anything about company or product but saw on the other F150 forum a link to lamin-x.com, which list all sorts of protective films cut for 2021 Ford F-150. Including headlight films. Also tail light, fog light, clear bra, rocker panel, etc.

Just like removing a decal, easy and you right. Especially up front. How difficult is the film to remove say 5 years down the road? I am thinking that nothing lasts forever and at some point it will need to be replaced.

This is the route I plan to take as well for the headlights to keep them from fading and getting sand blasted by highway driving. I know it's more expensive than buying sheets of 3M but it's more convenient and perfectly shaped. I just had my wife's SUV (2021 Mazda CX-9 Carbon Edition) done with full frontal PPF for about $1600 but I don't want to pay that twice. They aren't cheap but I used these on my 15,17 & 19 Platinum,

So did you wrap all around the edges of the headlights or just do the flat fronts section? Just wondering how difficult it is to bend it around the edges without wrinkles or relief cuts.I just got a sheet of 3m clear and did it myself.
