I almost got stuck at an EA station

So I had a F150 lightning as a loaner vehicle, and I decided to make and upload my video to YouTube documenting my experience of charging it at a EA station. Let me know what you think.

Although the screen might suggest to 'plug in first', I've found that using my Ford Pass App to find and ACTIVATE the station before I even get out starts the process for efficiently, and may head off any 'unavailable' stations...
you're right, though, as the technology for CONSISTENT and CONFIDENT charging is not yet here, unless you are a TESLA owner using SuperChargers.

You didn't document the whole process of how you paid for the charge session. I have only ever been able to plug and charge after I set it up in the ford pass app. I turned it off since you don't get the plan discount associated with your EA account. Now I always have to swipe to activate the charger on the EA app first before plugging in.

I have had something similar to your video, where even the app won't start the charge. In this case, I use my tap to pay directly at the station and then plug it in to begin charging.

EA customer service told me of you have issues, start the session from their app. That seems to work for me at stubborn charging locations.
