On the Kia Forum somebody posted a picture of their NACS adapter along with what looks like dealership instructions. Interestingly it does not look like any adapter that I have seen before and the box says “Made in Korea” so I guess that HMC is making them - which is a far sight better than relying on Tesla apparently. It looks like you can order it from the parts department. Kia will give them to certain customers and start including them with the cars, which is smarter than Fords vaporware.

Wonder if that will be before or after I get the replacement adapter for my Lightning. My money is on getting one of those before Ford fixes their FUBAR.

You'd be better off buying the Lectron or A2Z before the one from Kia. Less expensive and rated for higher amperage.
I have the A2ZEr Typhoon Pro and intend to use it with KIA when they open up. I’ll put the Ford adapter back in the Lightning, if it arrives.

A2ZER recalled my original adapter and the replacement to me in around 2 1/2 weeks post confirmation. It’s going on 2 months for FORD and still no replacement. 😡

It's only rated for 350 amps? That's a big fail on a 400V charger.
I’ve charged my 2024 EV6 lots of times at a Tesla magic dock station. It only charges at 96 or 97 kw. I think the EV6 system uses the rear motor inverter to boost the 400v input to 800v. 100kw max on 400v chargers. If this is correct, then load is only 250A max.

That's understandable. Until somebody that doesn't know the limitation uses it on a 400v based vehicle and wonders why it starts to derate. These passive adaptors should be built to withstand the highest possible charging rates for safety, and to protect both the vehicle and charger.
