Lectron Tesla adapter question

When using the Lectron adapter, does it actually lock it onto the truck when it’s charging using a supercharger, worried about when you walk away from the charge that nobody pops it off and steals the adapter any comments? I was going to walk far enough away so the truck does not sect a key to see if you push the button on the truck will it release the adapter?

There is another thread about new features coming to the new 25yr models. We are hopeful since it’s all just software that our trucks will also get these. One of these is that yes the adapter when SC or DCFC will stay locked. Meaning if the truck is locked you would not just be able to walk up and hit the unlock button like we can now and have the adapter release. The truck would need to be unlocked for it to release.

It locks to the truck while charging but this can be unlocked simply by pressing the centre button on the charge ring or stopping the charger.
I like the 3D printed deterrent device. Makes the Grab 'n Run less likely.

Note that this only works with the Tesla made adapters, I think. The Lectron made one is a bit different shape.
