Order e-mail from Ford in Canada, does this happen?

Just wondering if anyone has received an e-mail from Ford that they should order? I never received this, instead my dealer reached out to me because the Order books had opened on 2023.

Has anyone (in Canada) actually received an official e-mail from Ford inviting them to order since the 2023's were released?

I don't think Ford of Canada sends out email invitations to order like Ford in the U.S. does. I recall when checking my reservation in my account back in July there was a disclaimer on the bottom of the page indicating that "your Dealer will reach out to you when its your time to order". I have also seen a similar statement in an email from August 10th 2022 from Ford of Canada that says "your dealer will contact you when its your time to convert your reservation to an order"

I got a text from my salesman at my selected dealer, in Calgary, today letting me know that i could come in and order my Lighting truck.

I got an email yesterday from my dealer in Calgary that I can order, but only option is Lariat ER. I was way down reservation list, Oct 2021. I'm waiting for XLT.
