I put 285/65 Ridge Grapplers on and they made me dislike the stock wheels less haha. I am liking the look of them more and more each day.Anyone changed the Hankooks out for larger or more aggressive looking tires ? I‘d like to see pics to see if better looking tires would make me change my mind about these stock wheels.
Sorry meant to include some of whole truck.Much better. Any more pics of the entire truck ?
Looking good !!! I might just keep the stock wheels for nowI wasn't a fan of the stock wheels either, but they look much much better with a more aggressive tire. I thought about the Nitto RG, but went with the BFG K02 instead. 275/65r20. No lift, no rubbing, and no trimming required at this size with the 4x4.
2” Ready Lift level. Zero rubbing or trimming required and no issues with any sensors.Wow ! That looks tons better. Level kit ? any rubbing ? Any trimming required ?

I have be contemplating which tire (size/brand) for a bit - down to 275/65r20 or 305/55r20 - key being I can get those in a NON-LT tire to save considerable weightI am leaning in a different direction.
I have an FX4, no lift, stock wheels, but I am thinking of going to 305/55r20 E2. I am not looking for additional height, but want a wider tire.
Has anyone tried that? Any issues with rubbing?
LTs usually have more plys so more resistance to punctures and I would rather have the height than the width. Not sure how much the weight vs width penalty would be on fuel mileage, they might cancel out.I have be contemplating which tire (size/brand) for a bit - down to 275/65r20 or 305/55r20 - key being I can get those in a NON-LT tire to save considerable weight
seems like many folks choose larger/heavier LT tires but then complain about MPG hit - on an F150 I am wondering what advantage the LT will offer?
Yes that is the tire I am looking at (waiting on truck) probably in the 275/65R20 - nearly 8#'s difference between LT/non-LT in that brand/size, but a common tire many are choosing at 295/60R20 the weight is nearly 20#'s!LTs usually have more plys so more resistance to punctures and I would rather have the height than the width. Personally, I live on a dirt road and spend as much time off pavement as on so I didn't want any wider making it sling mud everywhere even worse than it does now. Probably not an issue for the subdivision mall crawler crowd.
Nitto Terra Grappler G2s can be had in both sizes as a non LT I believe.
I pull a ~ 8000# travel trailer; I was looking at the E2 load rating as margin, even at some cost in MPG.I have be contemplating which tire (size/brand) for a bit - down to 275/65r20 or 305/55r20 - key being I can get those in a NON-LT tire to save considerable weight
