2022 Powerboost XLT - FX4
Hi,

I'm taking delivery of a '22 Powerboost SuperCrew FX4 with the Max Tow package as well, decided to stay with the 18" wheel because I wanted the extra sidewall for offroad capability and all around comfort. Ford specs the truck with LT265/70R18C tires. As I understand it the C rating tire is probably the addition for the Max trailer tow package (our trailer GVWR is 6600lbs).

I want to upgrade from the stock tires to a more trail oriented tire. Logging roads, gravel/crushed stone is probably the extent of our off-roading so an M/T tire is not needed. Would love to hear from anyone running a PowerBoost for similar use about the tires they may have upgraded to. Been reading everyone's posts about tires and whether the truck still accesses the electric engine, etc.

Cheers

I dont have a PB truck, but have researched tires a bit in the 18" and decided on General Grabber ATX 275/70-18 (33" diam) in the SL rating (not the LT-E rated tire) . That tire comes in @45-46#. That tire is standard on the F150 Tremor for reference if you want to see it on the truck. Your 265 tire shows 32.6" diam)
FYI, those tires for some reason are not shown on the General tire website. I found them on Tireack.com and clicked on the specs for more detailed info. In your scenario, you will have to look into more for the C rating for max tow. Hope this info helps you.
