Pricing issue

Thursday night July 13 ford lighting was delivered to the dealer, i went on next day friday, the msrp was $1k more then my order price, sales manager gave me threat to sell my ford lighting the next day if i don't buy it in 24 hrs. He was not willing to bring the price down or give me 1.9% ford financing even though i was preapproved. when i walked out then he said the same. he said that he will also not return my $500 deposit. under the circumstances i bought the ford lighting. then on monday the next working day. I bought my xlt lighting VIN 1FTVW1ELXPWG20942 on friday July 14 eve. On monday morning July 17 you cut the price by 10k, I reached out to the Ford Nepelton dealer in libertyville IL where I bought the car and he said there is nothing they can do to adjust my price. I also reached reached out to ford same response. I believe Ford Dealer new about the price drop and cheated me. any advise on how can i get price adjustment from Ford. I did reach out to Ford Executives office and was told that there is no price adjustment.

I can’t say whether they knew about the price change or not, but the 1k$ difference between order price and delivery was definitely a ripoff.

They, as dealers, should be honoring price protection.
