Neat idea. I would be looking for these, if I hadn’t already bought a storage case for mine.

Thanks for sharing.

I don't know why these would be needed unless you're storing the adapter in the bed of the truck full of dirt.

I found a few other models for 3D prints.

There is a guy (JustBob6) who came up with several designs to deter thefts of NACS adapters from unattended charging vehicles. He calls one a "Release Lever Stop for Ford NACS Adapter". You can hardly tell this is present but it makes the adapter very hard to remove, unless you have its "key". He posted it on the Mach-E Forum and on Thingiverse. A LIghtning owner printed it and posted a video at the Mach-E forrum showing how it works, saying he was pleased with it.

Another guy says he modified it a bit to make one that works for J1772 connectors plugged into public chargers. He posted it as "3D printed lock for L2 charging plugs (slightly modified Ford NACS adapter version)". I'm going to experiment with this as well. I once left my vehicle charging unattended only to find on my return that my vehicle was only half charged. The clowns charging next to me had unplugged my vehicle so they could plug in theirs. They had delighted stupid grins on their faces. I was so astonished I didn't think to just unplug their vehicle.

JustBob6 also created a different design for the NACS adapter release lever stop that uses a padlock. He posted a link to its page on Thingiverse.

There seem to be a few different designs to keep snow out of the charging port. The LIghtning Weather Guard. And the Universal EV Charge Port Weather Snow Cover.
