Your truck is on the latest Sync version and showing only updates pending. Nothing to be worried about here in terms of updates. Your truck is reporting a code that coincides with a possible loose connection between two modules, but if your truck is giving you no issues, then it can be ignored.

@rugedraw We sincerely appreciate your time and your willingness to help us learn more about our trucks. Is there any chance you can check 1FT6W1EV9PWG46924 when you have a moment? I want to make certain I should be in "patience is a virtue" mode awaiting OTA updates (currently on PowerUp 4.2.1.2 and am pretty sure that's an update I received shortly after driving off the lot).

I purchased the truck new in late April 2024. I've heard you say the modem must be "activated" in order to receive updates. I assume mine's active, since it's linked with FordPass, I can get vehicle status, and in fact my FordPass app reported a check engine code that my vehicle threw yesterday [P0929(77) for the gear shift lock solenoid, although on restart the code is clear and FordPass status shows "Good".] Or is there more to modem "activation" than that?

@Sean J Modem is fine and the truck is talking to the mothership fine. I don't see any reason your truck is not getting updates other than it simply isn't being sent any.

I see the code it through and seems to be an isolated incident; glitch in the matrix maybe? If it does not happen repeatedly, I would disregard it.

Hi @rugedraw. New to the forum and a new F-150 lightning owner. Picked up a 2023 Lariat ER this weekend. I’d be grateful if you could look my VIN up in FDRS. I had a few errors day 1 of ownership and had to bring it back to the dealer for a day to correct (front parking sensor, no forward anti-collision, no blue cruise) that appear to have all been corrected by a software update. I also received my first power up last night. Thanks for your help!

Reset the APIM. That should get it to clear.

I was on a long road trip and kept getting software update notifications in the in-car display that would say the update was scheduled, but then they'd disappear upon next startup of the truck and didn't seem to apply. VIN is 1FTVW1EL1PWG23485, could you help take a look? TIA

It's a phantom message and you can ignore it. No updates have been sent to you since the end of April.

I didn't compare it to the previous one, but the list will most likely the same. The updates you have gotten have been for the GWM and TCU and when those modules have a pending update, PTS does not show it. None of the updates you got would have cleared anything from the original list.

It does not show in your OTA history. If that is the update for the Tesla chargers, your truck does show a pending OBCC update, so if that is what you're looking for, then no it has not been sent yet.
