I was coerced into buying a KARR SECURITY SYSTEM from the dealer when I bought my Lightning. I didn't want it and didn't think it was necessary. Now they want to install it in my Lightning. My question is: Has there ever been a theft of a Ford F150 Lightning from a private owner? It seems to me it comes with a lot of theft deterrent already. It has the Wireless Key fob, or security codes, without which it won't start; it has built in GPS tracking. It may have remote shutoff capabilities (not sure). There is general unfamiliarity with electric vehicles, which is a deterrent. The thief wouldn't get far without charging, and if fast charging would need to use a credit card. Am I missing something??
