Went to an old guy's bachelor party last Saturday. No drinking (groom is a Church of Christ pastor) but lots of shells gone through out in the country and a great steak to top it off. Great time overall, 10/10 would do again.
Was a little concerned about the truck, on this 165 mile, 2 stop round trip there were absolutely zero DCFC available. ABRP indicated I'd make it home with 18% if I started with 100%. Got 2.2mi/kwh on the southbound legs and then 1.9 on the return home northbound into a stiff headwind as a blue norther was blowing in. Slowed to 65 in a 70 zone to try to keep the efficiency up on the northbound leg. Arrived home with 23%, in retrospect, I probably could have pushed it more and been fine. I also kept the heat pretty low despite the fact it was rapidly getting colder on the way back.
I'm pretty happy with this result. This truck seems to have more effective highway range than our SR AWD Mach-E, even though the EPA ratings are almost identical.
