Summer time - not updated automatically

Last night, Clocks were turned forward by one hour (Summer time) and today my Macan did not update its time automatically - I had to go to settings / date & time and modify the time manually (note the update date/time automatically option was ticked).
The car was connected to GSM, Wifi signals and to my phone via Android Auto and some how, it was not able to update itself ...
did someone else face the same issue ?

My Macan Turbo is the first car for many years that I have found does not correctly understand New Zealand summertime and adjust the time properly. I have had to change it to set manually.

Same here. If you switch off automatic, you will see there is no BST or daylight savings option for our American friends either.

so either the Porsche servers don’t have a proper time server or worse, it’s an omission from the PCM software…(I fear the latter, the former being an easier fix )

Switched to manual this morning, set the correct time. Then switched to auto now and it works as it should. Same happened in October.

Tried that - several times over the course of the morning - with no luck.

I switched to manual at 6:30 this morning and changed back to auto at 11:40 so maybe it has to stay a while in the manual setting (however it's not the right or intended use of the "auto" setting....)

Mine did it automatically, 5 minutes after I started the car this morning. Since it has been in my garage, I think that first it had to lock the GPS signal (from which I think it gets the correct time).

I’ll try this. I have it on manual right now. I’ll try automatic when I’m in my garage and give it a couple minutes.

Mine updated within seconds yesterday morning. I happened to notice because I had sent a route to the car, and I wondered why I was arriving an hour earlier than expected (it was only 8am, I was still half asleep), then it changed to an hour later almost immediately.
I was particularly sensitive to this exact point as my BMW never managed to update automatically despite it being ticked, and it used to annoy me more than it should do. A win for Porsche

I had to change manually. Then switched to auto...and I had winter time again.
