"If my preferred vehicle configuration is not available, can I hold my place in line for a later MY vehicle?
No, once invited to order, you will have the availability to select any of the current models available. You can also cancel your reservation and receive a deposit refund at any time."

That really sucks if you're one of the last reservations invited for MY 2023 and you want a Pro or an XLT. Someone who reserved after you would get the opportunity for a MY 2024 that you don't get.

We don’t know for sure they won’t allow people to order the pro from now on do we? So at this point it’s just speculation. No need to go postal on ford customer service just yet!

Also from that FAQ:

"How many F-150 Lightnings will be produced for the 2023 MY?

We are currently ramping up to a target of approximately 80,000 units for the 2023 MY."

That lines up pretty well with what we have been guessing.

That's mildly alarming. I'm a late Oct reservation holder. I recall reading that there were 160k reservations when I finally decided to put my foot in the door. If there's only going to be 80k next year, that's what....around 100k between '22 and '23? That means if more than ~62% convert I won't even get an invite to order. While I'm not happy about losing out on the tax credit (after the price bump) I was still considering. Don't like Chevy's take, maybe I'll have to look to the Dodge 1500 EV. Really hope they offer V2H, that's primarily what I'm after.

They need to start clearing that backlog of orders at some point, so why not screw the people waiting the longest?

No Pro is a no go for me. Will have to wait to see how the Silverado EV will be priced if that is the case. I reserved within the first few mins of Silverado's reservations opening up and I hope their system is not as messed up as Ford's.
