I'm curious about the electric kettle pot. Been looking for electric cooking appliances to cook with using the Lightning. Would that electric kettle work for making soup or stews?
I’m not sure this would be ideal as it’s kind of a tall kettle. I could see it being kind of a pain to clean after doing a soup or stew. It’s an Anvil 10.5, but they make other sizes.

I'm hoping they have bigger fish to fry. It looks like Mass has some wiggle room to "get you" if you transport and, of course, you WILL get in trouble if you sell it without all the "paperwork". Luckily I don't do either so I just worry about trying to make it taste good :)
You can get a Federal license to make ethanol. I went part way down the road, but the requirements are way too onerous.

I wonder if it"s OK for you to embibe if you do have an ethanol license and an EV, I mean the truck can't drink it.

IIRC the storage and documentation requirements had you showing where each ounce went. Where, how, and how much was stored, and what it was used in. Plus they could audit you at any time.

Not worth the risk of having Feds crawling all over my property.

Sometimes unreasonable rules cause reasonable men to do unreasonable things ;)

Main reasons why brewing beer (up to 200 gallons per year) is legal but distilling is not are the dangers of explosion and removal of methanol. A bad batch of beer can't kill you. An idiot distilling can.

This is my new go-to thread when dudes on the internet say our trucks don't do truck stuff.

'OK, maybe towing is particularly challenging in an EV, but can your truck make beer?!?'
This truck is constantly changing what I think of as ‘truck tasks.’ So hauling firewood is a traditional truck task, but now my truck also helps in the processing.

In fact, if I could convince Ford to get back into the tractor business and make an electric tractor, I could quit burning dead dinosaurs completely. With the advent of a decent rechargeable electric chain saw and the pictured 10 ton electric splitter, I am heating my 190 year old stone farm house almost completely with the power of the sun (with a little help from solar panels and the lightning)!
