Just got this email and photo of my truck rolling off the assembly line. Funny because I took delivery on Sunday… little bit of a delay per usual.

Looks like Ford is at least trying to better communicate the status of the vehicles. I believe they implemented a similar system back for the Broncos and are carrying that over for the Lightning. Hopefully that is a good sign that your truck will be shipped soon!

Lol, I just got the same email and mine is sitting in my Driveway already. The email doesn't correlate to actual production and delivery at all.

They probably just have one photo of each color and just send out the mass email. Lol

10 years ago when I purchased my X3, BMW had 10 different cameras throughout the build process that stitched together a video of my actual build. Each clip was my car and had the VIN listed. It was pretty cool.

I remember seeing some Bronco owners say they got their pictures after having their Trucks for 3-4 Months. So this is an improvement

Truck behind is a different color.
Balance dot on tire @ different position.
plastic on pass seat crumbled differently.

Timing is off but still a cool idea. Was hoping they’d do this!

Would probably print off and hang in garage

next step is to get a time lapse of the whole build, I can watch my sandwich get made, let’s make it happen for the 60k car

Same here. It's very of cool of Ford to send me a photo of my truck coming off the assembly line but I find it much more exciting to go out to my driveway, get in my truck, and take off like a bat out of hell in it!
