If you are still under the mileage limit for the warranty, you should be fine. Happened to me shortly after I was out of warranty. The part isn't cheap, but there is a lot of labor involved in connecting the wiring.
Yes, I would buy another. 71K on my 2022 Lariat ER, so I probably have a couple of years (at least) left on this one.
It's a joy to drive (or not drive, since I got the BC Handsfree upgrade), and maintenance is nothing - one set of tires around $45K, and some wiper blades.
I know some...
I don't think so.
What you do want to do is to make sure that the Pro Power reserve setting is where you want it, automatic shutdown is disabled (so the truck will stay on indefinitely) and shut off lights, climate control, etc. to minimize power consumption by the truck.
Stay safe.
Newer trucks might have improved hardware, but the new software works just fine on '22 trucks. It does a lot more than the old version, and does some things - especially lane centering - better. I don't particularly like the way it slows for curves, off-ramps, etc., but I very much like that...
I charge all the time on a ClipperCreek (now Enphase) HCS-80. It's rated at 64 amps output; currently sending 12.1 kW to my 2022 Lariat ER. That's about 58 amps on the 208v service here at work.
This, if possible.
I put that kind of mileage on my 22 lariat, and probably was in for service four times in the first year-ish, anyway.
Bad frunk button was two visits. the CSP for the "ting" noise was three, I think. Depending on the dealer, it can be one visit to tell them about the...
Do you get the front camera when you shift into Drive? Since enabling Cameras at Speed, I get that every time.
Is there a Forscan setting that disables that "feature" but keeps Cameras at Speed?
It doesn't sound like this is the root of your problem, but you might try deactivating Blue Oval (in your Ford accout) and then re-enabling it (all your settings are saved). I had to do that to get Plug & Charge working, but I was always able to charge using the A2Z and the Tesla app.
I have seen Cybertrucks at Superchargers a couple of times - seems like they take up two spots as well (or enough of a second spot that another Tesla can't use the station).
I am also looking for a solution to this. I find access to the cameras useful for towing/hauling odd objects, but the front camera at every startup is unnecessary.
I stand corrected (and will edit the original post). At over 67K miles, I figured it was out of warranty and was, in any event, not worth the hassle of a trip to the dealer.
BTW @Ford Motor Company , what's the deal with 10mm nuts for the battery terminals and 8mm for the battery hold-down clamp?
I would have the 12v battery checked - the warranty on the OEM battery is only 24 months.
The same thing happened to me a couple of months ago (with a 25 month old battery) after a night of manual (FDRS) updates. 40 mile morning commute was fine, but I got a rash of faults and warnings after a...
