I see that a few people have managed to install 295/65/20 on stock wheels with a 2.5 level kit.
looking at the attached video from American Truck, they say it will rub everywhere. What am I missing?

First I'd like to point out that in the video you referenced they installed a 35x12.50x20 not a 295/65/20. The problem with fitment after a level hasn't been the height as much as the width. According to tiresize.com a 295/65/20 is only 11.6" wide. Keep in mind I have not personally ran this combination yet but from what I'm seeing the only rubbing being mentioned with this setup if at all is minor on the front valance. Also, there's a whole thread on here called factory wheels with aftermarket tires where there will be plenty of pictures and first hand experience to possibly help you further. New here hope this helps.

Thank you, I didn't pick up on the tire width. Im a newbie to this and was confused as to how many on this site have run this combination, but AT said it wouldn't fit. I also noted that they were using a zero offset vs factory 44mm, nit really sure how that works. Would hate to make a costly mistake.

Glad I could help. My basic understanding of offset is the higher the number the more tucked in the wheel will be. So any offset lower than +44 will poke out more. I came across that site tiresize.com somewhere on this forum and it has some pretty neat tools to calculate and visualize the differences.

I have 295/60/20 Nittos on stock wheels with 2.5" level. I can go full tilt on it with no problems at all.

Looks soooo good. Which level kit did you use?
Thanks! I went with the Falcon Tow/ Haul level kit. Quite a bit pricey, but I have plans for a TT down the road so I figured I may as well cross two things off at once.

This looks great. I am very torn on what level to go with. With the FX4 and Max Tow my truck is 4.25" of rack...way too much! I was considering going Fox 2.5 in the front but I know that only provides 2" of level. Really considering the Falcons as well. Definitely a little pricey considering they don't come with springs.
