Is anyone else dangerously close to buying one? If so are you going to have it painted? They cost more money than the competition but it looks like the build quality is superior.

agreed! I placed an order today. My Ford dealership said they could paint it for 450. I thought that seemed reasonable

It looks like the curved tailgate extends past the cap a bit. Any chance you could snap a photo from directly to the side of your truck so I can see the relative length of the cap compared to the full outer length of the bed?

it looks a hair short, but they swear it’s supposed to be like that

It doesn't extend all the way to the back of the box, if that's what you mean. I suspect that the RSI folks know what they're doing, though, and the delta is both intentional and functional.

i thought so too, I got the local Ford collision center to do it. 550 bucks. I thought that was very reasonable

When I contacted RSI recently they said that they hadn’t checked the fit on the 2021s yet, and we’re going to contact me when they had done some R&D. Is this the box that would fit a 2020? Did you order directly from them or from a local dealer?

i ordered through a local dealer. I spoke with RSI and they confirmed it fit. The website says it fits too, but it looks an inch short to me.

Very interesting! Just last week the website did not include Ford F-150 for 2021, and now it does. It seems like they did not do a redesign for the new dimensions yet, but are using the 2020 fit?
