Hey all. I almost just traded for the new tremor, but backed out. I feel like I would miss some things! My question is, what’s the best way to get some better off-road performance/looks on a powerboost platinum? Front level and some more aggressive tires? I was told I couldn’t go bigger than stock tires?? Any advice would be great!

I went with a 2" level and 285/65R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my Lariat PB... I think it looks good without being overly agressive...

Looks great! Do you think they would rub without the level??

Installed Nitto Recon Grapplers today on my 20" alloy wheels, 295/60/20 and a Ready Lift 2" level. Very disappointed. Why? Because now my electric won't kick in at all, mileage dropped a solid 1 mpg and there is some noise, probably because the truck is so damn quiet. It's a low level whine, not super bad, but there. Again with the electric being kicked out, why have a Powerboost, so I unfortunately am going back to lighter 33" tire, either a Michelin, or hell I may even put the crap Hankooks back. The level should at least take out that excessive rake on the Max Tow Powerboost. I am bummed, the truck looks good, I assume it's not that the new tires are appx .9" larger in diameter, but it's the 20#'s in weight per tire. Crazy. Hate losing money, but I am not happy, so.....

Ya same here, I put on new rims and Toyo at3's which ruined my mpg and the powerboost. Thinking I might go back to stock

I love the beefy tires, but I now bought a Powerboost for the dogs to sit in my truck, but I also was loving the mileage and such. So I am going back to stock, I just am looking for some better 33's that are still light (no more than 43#). I found the BFG Advantage TA Sport LT or Pirelli's

yeah I’m going to run the pirelli all terrain plus. It’s light, A/T, and is snow rated. Should be a good all around tire.

ya right on! I am thinking of pairing the Venom Rex vr601's (28.4 lbs) with a LT275/65r20 Goodyear wrangler trail runner AT (50 lbs). It's E Load range and LT rated, so if it fits then I'm set. The tire is slightly heavier at 50 lbs than the Hankook's at 45, but I'm also saving on the rims by choosing 28.4 lbs Venom Rex over the stock rim of 38.1 lbs.

Pretty much what I did. I just went with the toyo at3 in the same size and 603s. I think I lost 1mpg but I also got some OTA update the other day and am noticing my truck goes into electric mode a lot more than it did before so I may gain that 1 mpg back.

Toyo AT3 stock size is 42 lbs. a lot of stock size P rated tires are light enough that it won’t make much of a difference. You could go to a 275/65/20 P rated Terra Grappler that is 48 lbs.

Put stock Hankookoos back on, ride is better (even with leveling kit), quieter, and with a Powerboost I like getting 22-25mpgs over 18 max with the 60#+ tires

Your truck looks great! Looking to do the same thing with mine when it arrives.

Are you still running that setup, and are you still noticing only a 1 mpg drop or so?

Gonna parrot what everybody else posted. I think anything 285 width or less would fit the bill nicely.
