it's interesting that I have yet to receive ANY email from Ford, about my order on Jan 6th, which the system shows as a scheduled production week of 5/30, and yet I receive THIS email, which is vague, generic, and not very sensible for anyone's personal situation....
interesting, too, that it alludes to 'Series/Options', although I'm not aware of what 'Series' would be referring to, unless this email was actually miss-typed and meant for BRONCO order customers.... very strange, Ford.
this type of email is simply ridiculous:
A) it is generic, and does not say anything to your SPECIFIC order
B) it does NOT make it clear 'what' timeframe it is referring to, whether orders placed already, or simply the 'start' of any production orders for the Lightning line
C) it comes across as though you would have received a PREVIOUS email, alluding to some information that now is 'incorrect'
D) it basically does NOTHING other than confuse the very people it may be intended for : /
I wonder if someone actually READS the email before they press the 'button'?
Unbelievable that a company this big can not manage relatively simple comms in a way that is understandable and doesn't just cause additional confusion. Could you imagine the number of "worried well" individuals that are now calling their dealers or ford to figure out what changed? It's almost like they have zero ability to recollect what emails have been sent to whom and when.
