No worries. Your situation is what I am kind of concerned about. My intuition is that in busier ports like Boston and Wilmington, DE, the vehicles should move out quickly. Obviously, that is not the case. I was reading in a Bronco thread about a guy who had a 16 day delay from his Bronco being unloaded in the rail yard (not Boston or Wilmington) until it made it to the dealer. I thought I was a little over the top calling Norfolk Southern 2-3 times/day, but this guy went as far to track down all of the companies that did car hauling from rail yards, contacted them all until he found his carrier.Oh sorry I thought you meant yours was loaded on a semi. Mine has been sitting in Boston for two weeks now since being unloaded.
In the end, I think Ford's window is the best guide. We customers tend to get overly optimistic when we see our vehicle has been unloaded from rail car and think it will be picked up the same day (or in a day or two) and head right to the dealer. My window is Nov. 6-12, and I am good with that. I need to calm down.
