Just curious if anyone else feels like the armor flex for the short beds does not fit properly. I installed it a couple of weeks ago and right away felt like it was too short. I got busy and brushed it off a little bit but after going through the carwash, I'm pretty upset with this cover. I know tonneaus are not completely waterproof but the amount of water was unacceptable to me. My truxedo on my 2013 would let in about a tenth of this cover. Does anyone else have this issue?

Do you have a picture of how much water you had? Because I pressure washed my F150 with the MK4 and there were signs of moisture on the bed liner but there was no real water there.

I wish I would have but was in a hurry. The wife had a TJ maxx bag in the back that I was unaware of that got soaked. Got me in hot water pretty quick! I will take it back through to get some pictures of that. Water issue aside, if you look at the photos I had to bring the cover back towards the tail gate quite a ways in order to get the seal to come in contact with the top of the tailgate. This left the front of the cover damn near off the bulk head. Ill get some better photos after work of the water and the bulk head alignment. Overall I feel like the cover is 1 to 1.5 inches too short.

yeah looking at it, it does look a bit off, specially the back, it looks a bit too lifted from the tailgate.

I had an armor flex installed this week end and I’m liking the way it fits. This cover is specifically for the 2021 F150, which is different than previous gens.

Will the sun help that rubber seal lay flat on the side rails? Or is that normal

Yes. The seal has a crease from being in the box. 3 days since the install and the seals are flat.

I installed my armor flex two days before my truck went to the dealership and it has been there ever since.. I will say from what I noticed on the install, that it certainly would not have hurt if the cover was a couple inches longer front to back.. Can't speak to the waterproofness of it as I haven't had it in my possession to be able to tell..

I don't think '21 F150 truck accessory manufacturers are in tune with our needs for this new generation truck. In DEC Undercover listed a one-piece tonneau cover on their website which still is not available due to engineering & production issues. The same is true of aftermarket door sills we purchased that don't fit, in-channel ventshade window deflectors that restrict the closing of a window. Many manufacturers are using the same part number for previous products that were tried & proven on 2020 & previous year F150s. It's unfortunate for folks that want to personalize their '21 F150 are being taken advantage without them thoroughly testing their product on the '21 truck. As the saying goes: BUYER BEWARE! Good luck

Undercover list two different part numbers for 15-20 and the 2021s. When emailed they stated bed size is different so cover is different.

Worth noting this is a cover for the 21 specifically and not a carry over from an older model.

We had some light rain showers overnight last night and today. It showed two problem areas, the bulk head seal (a result of the cover being too short) and the seam between panel two and panel three, right above the rear of the wheel well. I don't see any obvious points of entry on the seam but I think it may be sneaking under the edge seal where it appears to be slightly lifted from the cover sitting folded in the box. The tailgate didn't show any issues which may indicate that it would perform well in normal rain but I don't have any confidence with that area holding a seal in a carwash. I'm finding it hard to lower my expectations on a cover that costed over a thousand dollars but this is my first trifold. Are leaks more common in the hard folding ones?

Wish I saw this thread before I ordered my Undercover Ultra Flex. I installed it yesterday and noticed right away it was too short. I could stick a pencil in where it meets the tailgate. I emailed the company and they asked me to measure it metal to metal. I did and it was 66.5 inches. They said it was the correct one even though the bed measures 67 inches. Way too much money to have something I am not happy with. Luckily I got it from Amazon. I took it back off boxed it up and its already on its way back. Will have to do better research for the next one.

I had the 2021 Armor Flex installed on mine and the fit appears to be much better than what yours is showing in the photos. I have had it through multiple car washesandriven in someheavyrain with gear in the back and it all stayed completely dry. Nothing but good things to say about it so far.
