Do you have the old style harness or the new one? I found out with the Mach E this weekend that they behave differently for some reason I can't decipher yet.
The first test would actually be to just unplug your ODB2 connector and see if the errors go away. If they do, then buy these...
Someone on my youtube channel today said they were able to eleminate the startup errors without a harness extension by putting ferrite chokes on the comma power cable (between the ODB2 port and the harness box). I cant understand why that would work, but it is worth having someone else (who...

Just to clear up some confusion. All Lightnings have “Lane Centering Assist“, what you call advanced lane keep, built into the rack and pinion. Fords firmware just blocks it if the ACC radar isnt detected or has error codes. If you add ACC to an XL, Lane Centering Assist will work.
At this point, I think that the 2024 lightning does not have TRON. The first two trucks that tried Comma wouldn't work and we assumed it was TRON, but the next 4 have worked, so I think the first two had a different issue.
Yes, but it's not as good as Ford's (yet)
It tends to give 18 wheelers more room, until you get about 2/3 of the way past them, then it starts to tighten back up.
Blue and Pink are CAN1
Orange and Green are CAN2
Brown and Black are power.
I don’t know what Grey is doing.
there are two of every color because there is an in and an out.
Possibly. As a chemical engineer, I am on the very fringe of my understanding of these things. I can simply say I've made about a dozen from the shielded cable and there have been no issues.
