I just hope this update finally eliminates the drunken bob-n-weave down the road that my truck has always done. Starts out OK... corrects to one side, then over corrects and keep getting worse and worse until I look like a drunk driver. Never had it on for more than 10-20 seconds. Ever. A shame...
Little 2024 Update:
After about 12,000 miles on this setup... I still love it. Everything rollin nicely, still fairly quiet (not loud tires at all) and I dig it. I get compliments on the truck everywhere I go and still never see another leveled/lifted Lightning anywhere. Ever.
I would do all...
10000% agree. My 2" level did nothing noticable to range... The Nitto Recon Grapplers (34x11.5)... definitely took down the range though... 15% (or more) loss of range. Depends on how fast you are driving.
No. I went Ready Lift. Honestly, heard nothing but (-) comments from installers/shops about RC suspension products. Not talking smack, just repeated was I was told by 3 different local shops? So I went Ready Lift. Super happy with 2" level spacers.
Bluecruise works fine on my leveled Lightning too, but the auto driving/lane/sterring part? Still goes left, right, left, right like a drunk driver would. Still not fixed or updated from what I can tell.
Maybe it never worked great from the factory either? I put on level + wheels/tires right...
I follow SGS's YouTube channel... awesome group of guys there. Would love to hear how the system is performing and if the $4k+ investment was worth it. Obviously everyone has a different opinion of worth... but as an audio head myself, I think this could be in my near future. Thanks for posting!!!
Thanks for all the great research. 2022 Lariat here... been clicking since day 1. Almost 11k miles on it now. On the phone with dealer scheduling service for the TSB listed. Thanks everyone. I'll respond back after the service, and again some miles down the road.
Thanks for sharing! Joe
