This is my Lightning the 5th day I've had it. It's towing a 30ft Avion trailer that weighs about 6k, and it tows with ease. I've just covered about 20 miles of gravel road to an event for youth on range land plants and soils. Mud flaps are ordered and needed as you can see. The truck has a little over 400 miles in the picture and I think it's exactly what I hoped it would be. I put about 50 to 75 miles a day on with lots of stop and go, in and out doing cattle ranching related things.

Take it easy.... manual says no towing until after 1k miles, altho others have stated here that is BS.

That's probably to set a gear pattern in the gear reduction units of the motors. I doubt that I generated much heat and pressure on that short a trip and lower speeds. 35 mph was about it.

Thank you for the response. I love my Lightning and it has been great. Currently at 13,000 miles and my daughter is learning to drive in it. I can't wait to see the future enhancements.
