Config seems to be incorrect for BC. Get yourself a FORScan adapter and I'm sure we can fix it.
Also, you got GWM update 4.2.1 a few days ago and you know show an APIM update pending, so you're fine there.
Yea, that update is pretty old. You were actually sent the next update due for you 4.2.1 on 4/27 but it failed trying to install one of the files. Hopefully it gets resent to you soon.
Actually 4.2.1 was released in early 2023. You got 4.2.1.1 (note the extra .1). There is a thread for that here. It was first seen last summer but has been a regular topic of "I got it" for a lot of '23's. Hopefully its just a reset update that will now enable a bunch of other updates and you...
...the next OTA updates or not and/or even when...
After I bought my truck in early November 2023, I only received one OTA going from 4.1.1 to 4.2.1 and then nothing.... I could see on this forum some owners with the latest big screen layout; this is why I decided to do the updates on my own...
They've had a crappy run lately, but I wonder if they are trying something new since a bunch of us just got a modified version of 4.2.1 for our first update. It was 4.2.1.1 so probably has some patch or something in there. If I was planning a big roll out to catch people up, this might be how I...
I have not noticed any changes after having it a few days but from info I found a GitHub that tracks updates the 4.2.1 is supposed to get us ready for more updates which is exciting. The extra .1 is probably just a small tweak but I'm just guessing at this point.
...like a bunch of people on this thread have a late MY23 including me and it is the first update they received. Am I wrong that this is the only thread talking about 4.2.1.1? I appreciate the help. Its worth checking out that github link above, it has much more detail than the history you attached.
Thanks @bmwhitetx for jumping on that. So there are very few of those releases that have 3 decimals in them - most only had 2 - like 4.2.1 vs 4.2.1.1.
It was determined that those releases like 4.2.1.1 were for the early '23 models and 4.2.1 was for the '22's. No one really knows why but...
...searching skills were failing me :). I did find something that has probably been shared elsewhere but has some helpful descriptions of updates for mach e and lightning. Still does not have 4.2.1.1 on there but it has to be pretty darn close to 4.2.1

Oops, sorry, didn't notice the extra .1. I've didn't realize they were doing that. Maybe it's just an updated version of 4.2.1 (I got 4.2.1 back in Feb 2023). Both 4.2.1 and 4.2.1.1 messages are similarly vague :).
:) thanks. Thats 4.2.1 not 4.2.1.1 which is what I was asking about and I am pretty sure this is the only thread that references it so thought would be a good spot to ask for posterity.
You need to do a search on this site not the Internet in general.
If you do you will find this:

Newb here... do you have link that you can share. I did many google searches for 4.2.1.1 and could not find what the update does. I did find a site that was tracking them and has 4.2.1 sans the .1
