Just received 6.1. Tested backup power - transferred flawlessly. So happy.

Right on cue, one week to the day of first reports, while taking the secretary of my treasury to lunch at one of her favorite restaurant, which is just down the street from my Ford dealer, got a Fordpass alert that 6.1.0 had loaded, only 20 minutes after parking the truck

13 minutes later a second alert posted to Fordpass, but the hyper link to details went to a dead end web page, not sure what it's about.

After lunch was done, we headed out & checked the UPDATES screen, it noted the 6.1.0 update, nothing else.

Same exact thing happened to me at lunch today. Got 6.1 at lunch but then later at home I got a second message That was 12 minutes later. But details were not available. Was hoping that meant I also got 6.2. But a few hours later, both messages showed 6.1.

Later it showed as a duplicate of the 6.1.0 message

Where does it say there was an intelligent back up fix?

I just got the same thing. No backup power. Now I have to get BlueCruise for my pro so I can use the updated map.

Got this one today while in the middle of a trunk or treat event, thankfully no blip in pro power availability.

@idahospud. Did your Update Details say anything about backup power?

I just got the 6.1 Update today at 6 p.m. It said nothing about a backup power update in the Details, and I have the (non-working) Intelligent Backup power system, too! Later tonight, I'll test the system and see if it now works after the update.

Thanks for confirming. My Power Up 6.1 update details didn't mention HIS/Intelligent Backup. The system didn't work on the automatic or manual transfer setting today. The FCSP turned green, but the truck charging port never showed the green LEDs, indicating it was transferring power.

I tried calling Ford, but this time, I got no further than a call center specialist who said the official OTA update to fix the HIS system was still in the works. She could give me no further update on when the official fix update might arrive as they don't divulge that sort of information in advance...

I told her that I loved my Lightning, but Ford didn't communicate and coordinate in the way that I expected from a high-tech company, especially for a very expensive piece of equipment that still wasn't working many months after it was installed. Same issue in the delay in building my truck because of the February 2023 battery fire...

Yep. Have had two updates recently including the OP's, but still haven't received the battery % update.

Frustrating, but not surprising.

Been sitting on a failed 6.1.0 for week now.

Every day I confirm my LVB is above 80% (or I drive until it is). Keep the truck charged above 70%. Keep the key fob away from the truck.

I just wish the Update Now would be active. This is so painful. Don’t even want 6.1.0. I just want to get caught up.

I’m in the same boat my truck got a first update last week 4. Something then jumped to this about 15 mins ago

I received this update this evening after pulling into the parking garage for a local jazz concert. One week to the day after getting my first update (4.2.3.1)
