Unfortunately probably more likely some greenie thinking they're just keying a large vehicle and not realizing it's an EV. No shortage of stories of trucks and SUVs being targeted. Either way, still pretty pathetic to target someone's property regardless of where you fall.

Since I'm OP; it was more of a question of what do others do as my situation doesn't necessarily allow me to charge every day. I don't have enough power where I garage my truck to charge all the time. Not trying to treat like a gas car, just trying to maintain my current routine.

Thanks all for the replies. Guess I should have included my driving habits. Since I work from home I don't drive my truck daily. I may use it a few days in a row and then it may sit for several days. Including a few road trips throughout the year I still only do about 7500 miles in a year.

Thanks all for the feedback so far, sounds like if I needed haul another 500lb box blade or pull a heavy utility trailer the truck can handle it and it's not just an electrified mall crawler or grocery getter.

With the recent price drop on the Lightning I'm thinking about pulling the trigger but I'm curious how folks are using their trucks. Are people using it to do truck stuff (hauling/towing stuff)? And if so, how well does it handle it?
