Lol yea on the lower right of the LCD cluster in between the PRND and Temp I had the traditional red figure in the seat belt icon. And although and no longer made a chime the little light was blinking. And it did not go away even after driving for 10 minutes.
My cousin has a 24 XLT lighting, he...
So mine did go away after locking the vehicle and unlocking it. So yes you are correct but it did not get rid of the blinking red light which then I found the code for.
Okay I figured out how to fix this issue. You can use Ford's method to disable the chime. But now to disable that pop up and the blinking red seat belt light on your dashboard use the following code:
Before
IPC - 720-13-01
IPC - 720-13-02
IPC - 720-14-01
IPC - 720-14-02
Change to all zeros...
Hey guys I have a 2024 Lariat ER. Just downloaded for scan today. I started to attempt to play. The first change I tried doing was removing the seatbelt chime which was unsuccessful. I followed the code that is listed on the first page of this thread and it did not work.
Any suggestions? And to...
After weeks long of bothering you all on here about offsets and tire sizes. I landed on 18x9 with a +10 offset. Since I don't want to level I stayed with a 275 to avoid rubbing with that offset. 275/70r18. Went with the Open Country AT 3 EV. Yes they make a EV version of the tire.
Yes I matched...
I went with a +10 offset, and dropped the 285 for a 275/70/18. If I wanted the 285 I would have had to drop the 70, but then with the 18's the truck would have sat lower. Hopefully getting it all done Wednesday.
I decided to go with a 275 70 r18. On a 18x9 wheel with a positive 10 offset. The 285 70 r18 on a +10 would have had a good chance or rubbing and I didn't want to take the chance.
I went to open country at/3 EV. Toyo came out with a EV version of the tires for us. Seems cool and made sense to...
I've never seen a lightning without that bar on during the day unless the DRL will shut off from the infotainment system. When the truck was new do you remember the bar ever being on during the day with the drl? My cousin has a 24 XLT and his DRL is the rectangular light plus the light bar.
My goal is for appearance before functionality. I wanted some extra poke, a stylish tire that was quiet on the road as much as a AT can be. I was planning on a 285/70/18. OEM is 275/60/20. I was going at a 18x9. The wheels I loved are 0 offset. Other wheels that are just ok are from +10,+18 and...
I being told the OEM offset of the lighting is +40. The wheel I had picked out was a 0 offset. I was told a 0 would push the wheel out 2 in. And that I should search for nothing more aggressive than a +20 since I'm not doing a level or a lift.
Can anyone confirm that this information is...
So I decided not to do a level on the truck for a few reasons. But my original wheel and tire setup that I wanted to do was a zero offset wheel with a 285 70 r18.
Will I have any rubbing issues without the level?
