I would always try to eek out every single mi/kWh I could before we got access to the Tesla network.
Thankfully now I only try to hypermile when I want to try to set a new record and make a game out of it.

I have seen any speculation of quality issues for the official Tesla OEM NACS adapter.
The only other thing I can think of if you tear down the adapter is the temperature sensor you would find inside to cut off power.
I would love a 500 mile range truck that can charge up to 80% in 30 min or less. It’s probably three years away.
For now my range anxiety has gone away thanks to getting access to the Tesla network.
Use a pressure washer, foam cannon and a blower to dry.
