I am almost certain that something is now different than before. It was colder back in December here in greater Vancouver and my battery’s 100%power output and truck can pull like there’s no tomorrow.
Would be nice if Ford is open about it.
Hi all,
Power is always 100% as I always plug it every night due to winter in canada. No one pedal, I hate it...I just brake way in advance to recover most of power.
Acclimated is surely a reason but why tire don't squeak anymore. It used to, when i floor it.
I noticed my Lightning accelerates differently lately. It used to accelerate "harshly" (in a nice exhilarating manner) where you will feel the vehicle thrusting forward with a short squeek on the tire from the sudden up speed.
When I 1st got the truck, the ridiculous
fast acceleration...
Got my recall letter from Ford and will call dealer to schedule visit. I hope this new wiper motor will fix the erratic wiping speed of the 1st and 2nd click of the wiper knob. Currently wiper works and will swing when turned on but just the 2 lower speed control is not giving the rate what...
No regrets yet as I don't tow and Haven't done road trips yet. So far sr is enough for what I need even though we had a cold spell here which decrease range but still usable for me. Not lugging extra 400 lbs everytime I drive makes me feel my decision is the right one.
Western Canada is having a polar vortex and dumped lots of snow here in greater vancouver lately. Driving in such conditions always accumulates snow/slush/ice on Wheel fenders, running boards and rear bumpers like the photos. I tried kicking these huge blob of iced slushes to dislodge them...
It is those trip data with super high efficiency mileage that is just simply too good to be true. I agree that if it doesn't match the info on dashboard it's off. Another means is I will compare how much kwh I added/ charge after the such data and almost always I get almost double the kwh on...
I am getting super efficient energy consumption data coming out of my FordPasa app. Seems something is off. I get as high as 15.1 km/kwh or 9.4 mi/kwh. I am getting average 4.5 km/kwh or 2.8 mi/kwh. Thoughts? Thanks for chipping in.

Mine just updates in my account at Ford.ca web and made a statement it is coming within sept 5 to 11th. You will need to acces the info screen thru the main homepage right at the very bottom that says something about tracking order. You need your VIN # and 4 numerical digit order # (not...
i would think your truck isn't built yet nor been scheduled for production at this point, that's why u can only c order confirmed only. I have this too before I got the VIN # & order # from my dealer. good luck.
Go to ford.ca, login and scroll down at bottom and click "vehicle order tracking" under "Shop" menu column. You need your VIN # & 4 digit order # (not reservation #). If you don't have these numbers, ask your dealer and they should have it. That's how I got mine. I have a note ETA is...
